| The Ministry of Home Affairs registered Maldives Aid (NGO) on 29th April 2008 after being denied registration in March 2006. Maldives Aid have been conducting their activities in the Maldives as an unregistered organization with some difficulty prior to registration.
Becoming a legal registered organization, will allow Maldives Aid to stand to deal with the government authorities in executing our Aid and Humanitarian projects and on issues of Advocacy.
Maldives Aid, as a legal entity look forward to work with other fellow NGOs in the Civil Society Network in bringing Human Rights and Democracy to this country. |
